Dominic Matthews is a self taught painter, print maker and Ceramicist, currently exhibiting at the Royal Academy Summer exhibition.

 

As well as being influenced by many artists, Dominic’s work owes a debt to film makers such as Wes Anderson, Wim Wenders and Roy Andersson.

 

Having been a professional musician for fifteen years, a desire to return to painting was triggered by a major Peter Doig exhibition at Tate Britain.

 

Dominic is happy to work on a commission basis.
